rippled butter keeper 1
wheel-thrown butter keeper, made using white clay and then glazed with a cream/yellow glaze. the top of the lid has a nice rippled texture.
holds about 200g of butter.
approx. 9cm tall x 10cm wide
price reduced by $5 due to some minor flaws - after the bisque firing (first firing) a few tiny cracks appeared on the lid, I filled the cracks with glaze so they’re sealed and is now just an aesthetic flaw really, there is no chance of anything coming in or out, you can barely tell they’re there. I tried to capture images of them in the final two photos. There is also a few unglazed spots on the inside where the wax-resist got in the wrong spot prior to glazing. Again, this is just an aesthetic flaw.
